What phones does the technician app work on?
The AMCFlow technician app works on Android smartphones running Android 8.0 or above. Any mid-range or budget Android phone from the last 4 years will work — no special hardware needed.
Do my technicians need to be tech-savvy to use it?
No. The app is designed to be as simple as using WhatsApp. The job list is on the home screen, status updates are single taps and photos are taken from the built-in camera. Most technicians are fully comfortable within their first day of use.
Does the technician app need internet all the time?
The app requires internet to sync status updates and photos with the web dashboard. Most service areas in India have sufficient mobile data coverage. Offline mode is planned for a future release.
Can a technician see other technicians' jobs?
No. Each technician only sees the jobs assigned to them. The owner and manager on the web dashboard can see all jobs across the team.
How do I add a technician to AMCFlow?
From your web dashboard, go to team management, add the technician's name and mobile number and invite them. They receive an SMS or WhatsApp link to download the app and set up their login. Takes under 2 minutes.
Is the technician app included in the free plan?
No — the technician app is available from the Growth plan (₹399/month) which supports up to 5 users. The free Starter plan is for 1 user (the owner or manager) and does not include the mobile technician app.
Can technicians raise new complaints from the mobile app?
Currently, complaints are raised from the web dashboard by the owner or office staff and then assigned to technicians. Direct complaint registration from the technician app is on the product roadmap.
